NEW BRIGHTON RSA ANZAC DAY PROGRAMME 2019

Veterans muster at NBWC in Marine Parade at 9-30am ready to march off to the Cenotaph at approx.
9-50am led by the New Brighton Silver Band Drum Major Jim Hill.
Conductor Craig Williamson Parade Commander calls all to attention for playing of
“God Save the Queen", Parade at ease - Cenotaph guard reverse arms.
President Bill Lochrie welcomes all.
Laying of Wreaths - Band to play “All in the April Evening”.
Rev Katrina Hill blesses the wreaths followed by a short address to the Public.
Padre invites the public to listen to the band.
President Bill Lochrie introduces the Guest Speaker: MP for Christchurch East - Poto Williams.
Parade Commander calls veterans to attention for playing of “The Last Post”.
Flags are slowly dipped while Last Post is sounded.
6 Flag Bearers - Canterbury Army Cadets.
ODE - Mr Rex (Tiny) Kirk Patron NBRSA.
Flags are slowly raised as Reveille is played.
Band to play “God Defend New Zealand”.
Parade marches off to the starting point and is dismissed.
